This is the home of the blue shroomp. A little 45L (12 gallon) tank I completely rescaped at the end of last year. Not sure if you could really call it a biotope aquarium since it isn't based on one specific river or stream. But it is SE Asia based with only flora and fauna (including the botanicals) from that region. (Days for the progress shots are in alt!)
Spare the xmas moss and Trident Java fern it's a Cryptocoryne only tank. Crypts, my beloved... This has nurii, costata, flamingo, wendtii green, willisii, balansae and I think beckettii?? which are propagations/clones from an ancient plant I have had in my tanks for at least fifteen years.
Inhabitants besides the shrimp are currently a group of Chili rasbora, with two Phoenix rasbora that accidentally came along.
