this is a translation of mine from 2/25/2022. as of this post the official video does not have subtitles, but this may change in the future.
[1] - patty-cake polka is an actual game in west, but i'm unaware if this was the intended reference. literally it is "twirling in a circle patty-cake dance." i simplified it to patty-cake polka as they sound the same in concept.
[2] - "iai" is the sound of someone sheathing a sword. the closest sound to that in english would be "schwing." however, that sound is also used when swinging a sword. i eventually decided to leave it alone to keep the flow.
