💬 What was your last 5-star read? [author collab] My most recent 5-star read was Glint by @ravenkennedybooks!! THIS BOOK! In one word... OBSESSED!! I don't too often find a series where the second book is even better than the first... but here we are! This is easily one of my favorite reads of 2021. I've only read a few books with Stockholm Syndrome, and this one is definitely my favorite so far. It's easy to see how Auren could fall in love with her captor. I loved watching her growth in this book, and seeing how she learned to value herself and find her strength within. And of course I have to take a minute to talk about my new book boyfriend... Captain Rip! He's incredible. Read this book and try to tell me otherwise. I promise you'll love him too. Gild was amazing and I loved it... but Glint. Just wow!! This book had everything I ever wanted, plus more. And that plot twist... I did NOT see that coming! I'm so happy I have book 3, Gleam, immediately accessible because I'm diving right in!
