The Courage to be Disliked
by Fumitake Koga & Ichiro Kishimi
I am currently 75% finished with the book and that helped me the most is Separation of Tasks. I don't wanna elaborate on it yet due to time constraint and I haven't done my night routine yet so I just wanna recommend it.
It basically explains the Individual Psychology by Alfred Adler. When we talk about Sigmund Freud, we know his basis of psychology is related to infantile sexuality and the separate concept of conscious and unconscious mind is from Carl Jung. However, Alfred Adler discussed psychology with the individual as a whole and that it belongs to a whole community, which is the universe. I mostly agreed with the concept of interpersonal relationships being the root of all problems and if it never existed, we would never have problems at all.
This book is not like any other self-help books due to its format which is a dialogue between a youth and a philosopher, and to be completely honest, it is the most interesting way to absorb information. It does not bore me nor unmotivate me, especially for a beginner in reading books since I've not even read more than 5 books.
That will be all for today, good night!
