The starting scene of this book was really nice…an action packed scene but after that. for most of the book, it was slow-moving and a bit dull sometimes. After the death of Krona, the Guardian who was responsible for the manhunters’ slaughter of sector 666, Atrocitus has lost his purpose in life. He wanted to kill Krona with his own hands but that didn’t happen. And now Atrocitus has reached a stage where he starts talking to Krona’s corpse! He kind of wanders around the universe, punishing those “worthy” of retribution and trying to find a purpose. Soon, he realizes that he will now dedicate his life in serving justice and punishing the guilty ones. He also realizes that he would need at least one more Red Lantern whose intelligence is restored (all his red lanterns are like-mindless). So he restores Bleez’s intelligence. And soon a conflict starts up between Bleez and Atrocius. Another story that takes place in this book is about Jack Moore, from earth, who goes on to become a Red Lantern.
