today my mom gave me my birthday present, a notebook. not what I expected, but okay, I can use this for a lot of things, wanted to buy one anyway. it's hard cover and the wood-like print looks awesome. then I noticed this little thing on it
at first I thought it's a lock, and hey, that's even better! it's weird that the lock is on the bottom and not on the side, but I've seen weirder things. so I went to open it, and... I couldn't. it took an unexpectedly lot of force to open it. a lot more resistance than from a regular notebook. and as I opened it, it started glowing
which was also the moment I lost my mind because a glowing notebook??? it doesn't get any better than this. and then I opened it all the way and...
it's a lamp! it's a book-shaped lamp!! and what I mistook for a lock is actually the charging port! how freaking cool is this??
