happy one month, closure!
can you believe it has been one entire month since we've opened?! it has been an absolute thrill to create this world with you all, and as a staff, we feel so lucky to have such a dedicated, inclusive, and creative member base. truly. all of your characters and plots are inspiring to us, and we love this little community we've created and cannot wait to see it continue to flourish! being a month in, we've got some exciting updates that we can't wait to share with you.
SITE EVENT
it's time for our first site event! as some of you may have noticed at the time of this announcement, we have unveiled our first site event and we are so excited. the circus arcanus is in town, ready for an exciting two week stint in london before continuing to travel to the next destination. there are a myriad of fun thread opportunities as well as in character prizes to be awarded, so check out more information here! every character that participates in our site event will be eligible to receive an exclusive, limited edition badge for their profile. the badge is currently in the shop and will remain there until the conclusion of the site event. please follow the honor system and only purchase the badge once you have created a thread within the event!
THREAD ROULETTE
we also have an exciting new feature that we are including in our discord: bi-weekly (every two weeks) thread roulettes! to encourage some out of the norm plotting and threading opportunities, we will be hosting bi-weekly roulettes with a small prompt attached to it. we hope you all take advantage of this fun opportunity. you can read more about it in the thread-roulette discord channel within our server.
REMINDERS
please double check and make sure that your claims have been posted! there are some that have slipped through the cracks and the staff is trying our best to keep on top of it, but please double check. on the topic of claiming things, make sure to visit our points thread and use it for claiming points! there are tons of things you can claim, such as character creating, submitted wanted ads to resource sites/tumblrs, and more!
POINTS RAFFLE
to spice things up for our one month anniversary, we decided that not only are we having a site event, and not only are we starting a thread roulette, but we are going to have a points raffle. how will this work? there are a total of 4,920 points up for grabs. each player is allowed one entry. this raffle will run from now until march 28th. furthermore, as a thank you for being here, every member who signs up for the raffle will automatically be given 50 points to use in the circus arcanus (or however you wish!) simply sign yourself up in the thread.
