Last night a small informal settlement not far from our area was on fire, an estimated 300 dwellings burnt to ashes so this morning I joined a small team of volunteers to assist. It was an overwhelming feeling the amount of donations we got almost everyone within our community donated food/ clothing and bedding items for distribution. It’s amazing how we came all together to help those so badly affected by the fire. I will go again tomorrow to assist as we have lots to do.
