He looked up to the sky, blackened by a haze of smoke and destruction. The bombs, bringers of death, wrought chaos on the already ravaged streets. Blood-curdling screams of mothers split the air as they held their dying children in their arms. Screams were cut off by massive eruptions of debris as the bombs tore through the city like wrecking balls.

Had a few dreams last night.
First one started off with "me" and this dream family "I" had. Think there was even a brother and a sister! We all lived in this large single story house that was up on a hill slightly away from the rest of the town. Do believe it was in England and also probably during WWII because there was a constant bomb threat. Luckily our house was located in an optimal position.
But we had this huge gray camouflage canvas that we wrapped around the entire house and property so we would blend in better with the hills to the planes that flew past overhead.
Remember going inside at one point and dad showing this bathroom to "my" older brother. It had bright blue tiles everywhere and an area to crouch and hide from a bomb raid in it. Remember going back outside after that and noticing that the canvas had been changed to a bright red one instead. Obviously, not very good for camouflage. Told "my" mother and we both flipped the fuck out and quickly fixed it.
Dream changed. "I" was on a beach in Mexico with these huge sandy dunes behind "me" and there was a bunch of people all out and about and enjoying the day. "I" was just enjoying the view and how peaceful everything was. It was a cloudy day, the skies weren't blue, mainly a white-ish gray. The ocean water was more blacker than clear blue, but it was still gorgeous. The wind was warm too and remember seagulls cawing in the air.
At one point "I" was in a car with Erin and Albert? Remember driving through the dunes and just gazing outside. At one point we stopped at this shop a ways down the road because Albert wanted to get something he could only find there? So we all went inside and it was a nice typical shop next to the sea that had a collection of random and weird things in there, little nick-knacks and such. He was looking for, and found, this really amazing looking ceramic mug that was actually pretty large and rainbow coloured. It wasn't bright, the colours were a bit duller but it was still gorgeous and it had two handles for some reason. He wanted it so he could have something to store his paint brushes in. Last thing I remember is driving away from the beach and towards the desert for some reason.
That terrifying moment when you have a dream about being under a bomb raid attack and then you wake up not knowing where you are or what's going on...
