Now that the hockey season has it's confirmed start date of January 13th , we know here on hockey tumblr or hockeyblr as some know it to be- that it can get very hostile very fast , especially while watching a game .

While you may be full of emotion from a game , I beg of you not to go on someones blog (especially a fan of the opponent your team is playing that day ) and harrass them via anon just for supporting that very team . I have seen this happen often and this has to stop .This does not create the change in hockey culture so many of you have been advocating for now for most of half of the year .

If you don't like a team or don't like how that team plays , blacklist the tag . Never fill the tag of hate for the players of the team . There are fans of the team you dislike using this same site for team news, content creators for the team and so many more reasons . Be considerate and you'll have no problems . Content creators , especially those that read all tagged reblogs on their works do see comments like "only valid {insert team } player " or your "witty" "i dont see why there are fans of {a disliked team } " . Please refrain from adding those kind of comments

With that being said , I will tag the following teams during games because I will be supporting these teams -

Vancouver Canucks - tagged as canuckslb or nuckslb

St Louis Blues - tagged as blueslb

Tampa Bay Lightning - tagged as boltslb

Philadelphia Flyers - tagged as flyerslb

If you don't like those teams or if your team is playing any one of those teams , feel free to blacklist . I will understand . I get it completely ! but there are fans with many emotional connections to a team and probably won't take it lightly .

Isles fans are saying Jan dived when he got (in caps to make my point clear ) HIT IN THE HEAD .

So tell me how would you fall (safely) if you got hit in the head ? JAN WAS FALLING CAUSE SOME ONE HIT HIM IN THE HEAD . YOU PROBABLY WOULDVE DONE EXACT SAME TO GET OUT OF THAT SITUATION SAFELY
