just finished watching laila majnu and it was one of the most deeply affecting movies I've seen. the cinematography was so beautiful, the soundtrack was absolute magic and the story and performances of the two leads are mesmerising. the second half in particular is so heartbreaking and beautiful and will remain with me forever. this movie is special in so many ways and most of all because it teaches you the madness of love. avinash tiwari’s performance in the second half as majnu descends into madness is heart shattering, the angst, the madness, the chaos just wow this man deserves SO MUCH appreciation for this performance. the picturization of hafiz hafiz is spectacular and the song itself gives me goosebumps <3 this movie really has my heart. the most underrated movie of 2018, and personally my favourite film of 2018.
