Mardaani 2 is an Indian 2019 Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Gopi Puthran and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. It is a sequel to the 2014 film Mardaani and features Rani Mukerji reprising her role of Inspector Shivani Roy. Things would have worked better if the actors had the gravitas and charisma to pull off one-liners that are designed for catcalls and claps.
