he's a combination of mystic Satan, movie Satan, and book Satan, visually leaning towards mystic Satan and the book.

Satan is OLD. he's literally Satan, he's been around earth for Eons. he is going to have gray hairs whether you like it or not.

hes powerful and strong, taking some aspects from the book, Satan is described pretty much like Danny irl (strong, hairy, and tattooed) and i wanted to keep that!

personality wise, he is still the same in the movie, although less emphasis on being a womanizer. Satan has grown old and tired of having done everything, he resides in his lair playing soulful tunes on his piano with his band of Knights, waiting for the day where he can finally have fun again.

in my Boingore (Boingo Lore™ patent pending), he still has grown tired of everything, but one day Satan stumbled across a father and his kid spending time together. Satan yearned for that, he's never been loved nor has he ever loved. everyone fears him, and he wanted that to change. until Mary stumbles into the Forbidden Zone does Satan takes this as a chance to finally experience love as a father!! it's similar to the plot of tnbc and i love it so :-]
