The Bohrok-Va have very bird-like body language in my mind. The way they move and especially the way they walk. Not 100% sure why, but when I look at them something in my mind just screams “bird”

This is a nice little throwback. I gave up Bionicle collecting a decade ago, haven't gotten any G1 sets since 2014, but I couldn't resist these Japanese bagged Bohrok Va I found unopened for cheap. I never owned any Va before, and this is also the first time I got a Lehvak claw piece.
These little guys briefly opened up a tiny window reaching back to 2002 (a very special year to me personally, both for good and bad reasons) and to the old feeling of getting pristine new Bionicle pieces for the first time.
Been too long since I last messed with actual physical IRL lego, and I chose an awkward time to do so: Right before a weekend trip out of town.
Still wanna give it thumbs, but that'll have to wait until I get back.
