If Breath of Fire 2 had an OVA in the 90s, here’s probably what it would have looked like? I wanted to turn that Ryu into a small animation, and with a whopping 6 Individual Frames, it sure is a Small animation!

I used to favor Nina II and lll above the rest, so I drew them a lot while wondering what kind of friendship they would have. One seems bubbly and open while the other is a bit shy and withdrawn.

I had a reference picture picked out that I thought was cute and a little cheeky, but I quickly realised that it became a lot more risque when applied to a character who does not wear pants. Managed to keep things relatively SFW by imporovising a bit her her tail. I've been having some trouble focusing on actual work lately thanks to the general state of the world and I think I just want to draw some cat girls for a while. I'm thinking Nuku Nuku, or Felicia might be next in queue.

ANYWAY!!! Breath of Fire 2 is great despite all of its problems (awful translation, dungeon pacing, D U N G E O N M U S I C). It’ll always hold a special spot in my heart as one of my fave rpgs all time and Katt/Rinpo probably made me a sort of furry when I was 10 ://// gud game
