Have you seen her? After helping Marlon find Nemo, it's their turn to return the favor - helping Dory find her parents. Even with the similarities to Finding Nemo, it was cute, sweet, sad, funny and exactly what you'd expect from yet another Disney/Pixar homerun. Baby Dory is ADORABLE. The opening scene w/her parents, to me, rivals the one from Up; definitely had something in my eyes(heart). Reuniting w/old friends from Nemo and meeting new ones...a lot of things in my eyes. A friend said it was "a bit less serious than it's predecessor" (i slightly disagree, her memory loss kind of made it even sadder. how scary is not having a memory of yourself or those closest to you, especially when you become seperated and try making your way back to them? I'd probably do nothing but cry my eyes out over the feeling of feeling like i'd forgetten something Incredibly important.) but he "found it very funny....it's theme's of living with disabilities were very well executed." and thought it was "absolutely worth the wait." The expressions, especially with Hank the Septopus, were amazing, as they were in Nemo. (The amount of detail and easter eggs Pixar puts into their backgrounds and films in general is alway mindboggling.) Destiny and Bailey were sadly humorous as they lived with their handicaps (nearsightedness and a loss of ecolocation) working together to help Dory and then themselves...The otters, Becky, the odd sealion, #SigourneyWeaver, that giant squid😳(fun fact: forgetting to put ice in my soda before this one, I held it for AN HOUR before i had to take a quick bathroom break. Pretty good for a watching a movie set almost completely under water.
