Regram from @blueandgoldak ••• Snowboarding can be filled with ups and downs. We do it because of the ups; the feeling that draws you to the mountain despite not being able to explain it to others. The downs can be brutal but never compare to the ups. Even when someone trains for years, gets to the biggest stage in the world, and has it ripped away from them the ups will bring them back. Our hometown boardercross phenom; @rosiemancari , blew out both her Achilles’ tendons during training runs at the olympics. Our heart breaks for her but we know she will be ok because she has an incredible attitude that focuses on the ups. Her potential is just coming to light and this will eventually just be a great story she tells as she describes how tough the road to her next big accomplishment has been. We love you Rosie and we’re so proud of you for your riding, your class in the face of adversity, and your spirit.
