Ive had three shows so far over the past two weeks, and holy shit ive been absolutely loving being on the radio. Im having so much fucking FUN just chilling and playing music, and ive even had an interview!

And guess what

Apparently i have fans!!!! When i went in for my third show one of the other djs who was on after me was super excited to meet me, and said that she and her friend had listened to all my shows and loved them!!!! Then she invited me on her show and we both played music and talked- i was on air for four hours straight.

And the station manager ben is really awesome! I think he sees how passionate i am abt this, bc we ran into each other when i was on my way to karaoke and he said he also listened to my show!!!!!!

Its been a dream of mine since I was 12 to have my own radio show. It was during the summer reading program at the local library, which i used to absolutely demolish, that i read a book called Beautiful Music for Ugly Children by Kristin Cronn-Mills. It was the first book i ever read with a trans character, and not only did it crack my egg it gave me an appreciation and appetite for music. The book was about a trans guy who has a radio show, and after reading it i wanted more than anything to have my own radio show.
