"If you keep teasing her like that, she's going to bite your ankles," Blyoeu warns as he watches Hun pull the toy away from the kittens again.
☆ • ★ • LAUGHTER SPILLS FROM his parted lips in response, teeth flashing in his widely split grin, and while he nods his head in agreement to Blyoeu’s warning, Hun doesn’t abide by it. Holding up the feather toy even higher, he watches with an abundance of fondness warming his chest as the kittens, all three of them, jump and paw at the air in their attempts at capturing their prey. “But they’re all so cute, look at them, wah~”
It really feels impossible to stop teasing them, even when Lilium mews at him, even when Kabocha gives him her patented kitten-eyes, even when Tulipa lashes her tail back and forth as if ready to pounce. And ready she is — he isn’t prepared for it, so when she jumps forward and nips at his toes Hun all but shrieks and tumbles down onto the floor.
Instantly, the kittens swarm him and conquer their kill, one kitten sitting on his chest, one swatting the toy away and across the room, and the last rolling around beside him contently. Rubbing at the back of his neck sheepishly, Hun looks up at Blyoeu with a crooked grin on his face again, eyes crinkling at the edges as he admits, “Okay, well, I guess I deserved that.”
