Gentle Trash from Blue Rose Code
Sitting in Kings Cross, waiting for my train to the beautiful walls of York. I've managed to arrive at the station a full 90 minutes early so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to write. Following more ramblin' around the country I've been pleased to be grounded in London for a fortnight, mixing the record and working on new material. I'm away all of this week, culminating in a sold out show in Cambridge, cannot wait.
I took a trip to Copenhagen last month to escape London life, rented an apartment in an area which I later found out the Danes call 'Gentle Trash', right on the edges of their red light district, that was a great deal of fun, if perhaps a bit noisy in the wee hours of the morning. A breathtaking city, full of beauty and grace, function and form, I'll be returning to Copenhagen, the Danes have cracked it.
Two dates in London to tell you about, I'm playing at Union Chapel this Friday with Simone Felice and then a lovely instore at Aubin & Wills' Shoreditch branch on Thursday the 11th of October. The in store one is a free gig and everyone is welcome so I hope to see some of you there.
Till next time, Slainte Mhath
