Good Morning Kingdom!! I thought let me start the day with my 1st #SneakerStory of 2017...This Picture of me was taken 22 years ago 😱 I ain't gonna say how old I was but do the math...This was just before I transcended in to the 90's designer era. I'm wearing an @easy Jean's Jacket bought from #JeanJunction / #BlueJunction in Stoke Newington - A @raygunshirts check shirt bought from the original #Hype street wear market place in Kensington High Street... black @levis_uk bought from #TheBrandCentre in #Brimsdown Enfield & on my feet @reebokclassicsuk workouts bought from Pro Sports Fitness (Up Stairs) in wood green cause they had at the time all the best @reebokclassics ✊🏿 anyway back then what myself & peers liked was the sense of discovery so part of the journey of identity was even if someone had the same things as you we used to ask "Where did you get it?" And used to take huge pride in mentioning a shop your fiends haven't heard of... It was so deep we even had fights if people weren't sharing the info, but it was all fun & games.That sense of discovery was just as exciting even sometimes more exciting than the actual item cause you just couldn't get back to school and tell your friends do you know about this place or that place...I wasn't even the best dressed in my crew, the style & patterns that my friends were rocking in the 90's was a madness.Non-Uniform Day @ D&K Came like a fashion show but we loved it.Having a pair of @reebokclassics back then was the one don't get me wrong @nike & @adidasoriginals was still doing stuff but in North London,Tottenham especially Workouts or Classics ruled!🙌🏿 YOU ALWAYS NEED A FRESH PAIR WHEN YOU WENT TO #BELAIR (Yes the King was raving since 13 🙈) anyway I love the reemergence of @reebok & all the dope Collaborations coming out I just hope one of the collaborators recognized this time period & highlight this time...who knows maybe the King can have a collaboration one day or help with a campaign that highlights this era. I just wanna thank Joe Foster @reebokthefounder & Brother for Reebok and contribution to fashion & culture.
