Another wave of eccentricity had overtaken the city, though Shion made sure to keep his nose out of it. So long as he and his friends weren’t affected, it was of little importance to him; all that mattered was finding a way back home and dealing with the plethora of problems that Ace had caused him and his family. And so, Shion kept to the shadows of alleyways by night, keeping his eyes and ears open for any new intel.

...but at the core, Shion hadn’t changed. He was still kind. His heart would still go out to the less fortunate. So when he saw the tiny boy wandering around, an utterly lost expression on his face, Shion couldn’t help but approach him.

This place looked familiar, yet only in the way dreams seemed once one woke up. The streets, remembered, but the faces remained blank. A patrol was in order, for the most part, and he would gladly help whoever needed his aid. 

His first order of business, placing a restraining hand on the arm of a stranger as they were about to cross the street. 

     “...The light tells you not to cross, and yet you attempt. This is only a warning, but the next time this happens, you may get hurt.”

Releasing the arm from his grasp, he’d stare at the other, his expression completely unreadable.
