Thinking about ways Leo could upgrade his powers (as if he's not already incredibly OP) and like.....sword gloves? Hear me out
I feel like it's pretty agreed upon that Leo's portaling/teleportation powers primarily come from his swords, even in the odachi phase
like he uses them to open portals and stuff, and later on, once he gets the katanas, it's pretty obvious that they're still the main conduit for his powers
And then in portal jacked, it's established that he needs his swords to portal, and likely to teleport as well
Anyways, he would probably eventually want some kind of assurance that he can always have his powers on hand, since seems to be the only one that can't call on his powers without his weapon
And since his odachi was kinda destroyed in the Shredder fight......
What's to say he can't get those sword shards, melt them down, and make a pair (or two or three or four) of gloves with the metal of his sword imbued to ensure he always has his portalling??
Idk, just something to consider.......
BLUE BOLT (vol. 1) #7 (December, 1940). Cover by Jack Kirby and Joe Simon.
This is, as far as I can determine, the last time Blue Bolt appears on the cover of his own comic book. It is also the last Jack Kirby and Joe Simon cover for the book; they had previously provided the cover to issue #3.
The character of Blue Bolt was one of - if not , the - first collaborations between Simon and Kirby. Simon had created the character, writing and drawing the first story in issue #1, but by the next issue he had brought Kirby on as co-writer and penciller.
The two men produced the adventures of Blue Bolt, and his ongoing battle with the Green Sorceress, until issue #10. After that, they left to concentrate on the other features they were working on for other publishers. In particular, they became busy producing stories of some star-spangled superhero they'd created for an outfit called Timely Comics.
