The time has come! I can show off the piece I drew for the Umbral Wings Dragon Tarot Deck~!

I got the pleasure of handling the 6 of Fire. The card is so cheery and bright (celebrating that you've made it through a trial and are being recognized for doing so), so! I felt compelled to include some of my favorite things (playing with temperature symbolism, staging, etc).

I've been teasing this one on here for at least a couple weeks, and now I finally have the video breakdown to show for it!

This was one of the most fun discoveries I made during the video editing process - and it was something I only picked up on because I was going frame-by-frame through so many episodes.

I first noticed it in the above screenshot of Rogue's introduction. But it quickly became clear that almost every episode of the Fifteenth Doctor era is packed with blue-and-orange imagery.

And then I realized that Blorange Dualism goes back at least as far as Saxon Master's introductory arc in 2007.

I've been able to track some consistent patterns in the way this blue-and-orange imagery is used, and one of its biggest associations is with the Doctor and Master as inverses of one another: after all, orange is the exact opposite of Tardis Blue.

But the symbolism is a little more complex and variable than that. In the excerpts below, I break down at least a few of those meanings:
