they started a week or so after booker told him what he was. and in hindsight, they're most likely finn's fault. but can you blame him? you find out your boyfriend is a ghoul, the first thing you're gonna do is google what the fuck that entails.
the stuff he found, though... talk about nightmare fuel. cannibalism, murder, necromancy?? a few weeks ago finn didn't believe in any of this shit, and now he was sharing a bed with a guy that did all of it.
for the most part, he's been pretty good about hiding them. but the kid's always had a knack for getting the shittiest nightmares. it was only a matter of time before these got too bad to suppress. finn just didn't think it was gonna happen this soon, with him ripping his covers back, a strangled cry leaving his throat as he bolts up in bed, a cold sweat already coating his body. it's too dark and his mind is racing too quickly to notice if booker is next to him, but he wishes on his lucky stars that he's not.
