Le mur de l'Atlantique (Atlantikwall) est un ensemble important de fortifications côtières, construit par le Troisième Reich pendant la seconde guerre mondiale le long de la côte occidentale de l' Europe et destiné à empêcher une invasion du continent par les Alliés depuis la Grande-Bretagne . Conçues par l'Organisation Todt, ces fortifications s'étendent de la frontière Hispano-Française jusqu'au nord de la Norvège. Elles sont renforcées sur les côtes françaises , belges et néerlandaises de la Manche et de la mer du Nord.(Wikipédia)
The Atlantic Wall (Atlantikwall) is an important set of coastal fortifications, built by the Third Reich during World War II along the western coast of Europe and intended to prevent an invasion of the continent by the Allies from Britain. Designed by the Todt Organization, these fortifications extend from the Spanish-French border to northern Norway.
