Angelica within this time didn’t even knew what was coming to her within her future, but what she knew already was that she was up to no good.  She already worked at a local stripper house, got some money to the side with dreams of doing something great with it someday -- Even if that only coming to be a party as huge as this one this night -- while the other half of the dough, she always had around to feed her lavish life. 

With a lick of her upper teeth and a breathy chuckle, she motioned one point to the other as people reacted to her call with high toned laughs, claps and comments on how she was back at it.

“I noticed you looking my way, so why don’t you come here and give mama some sugar?” The female commented to the other, in the midst of whistles and howling.

i’m too old for this. it’s all she can think when she let’s him tug her in the direction of his big adventure--his new idea. she wonders if life is a dream for him still. he has an innocence--and irreverence about him that she’d lost the first time her father had knocked her unconscious. sometimes pain does that. steals things in the middle of the night-- like innocence-- and an ability to revel in things without feeling like the other shoe will drop. Milan is cold and teeming with models and she knows she should be in the workshop--finishing one more design-- working-- but instead she is letting him tug her down familiar cobblestone--through a different city--and she is smiling about it. “i’m not one of your little girls you know-- that follow you looking for you to shine a light on them-- i come with a spot light all my own.” she doesn’t need him. aria is not the kind to need-- and yet. “you’re not god to me-- so you better cut the shit and tell me where we’re going--” there’s a laugh in her voice--and a wide smile on perfect-- painted red lips. “and you better have a fuckin’ blunt.” she curses like a sailor when she’s wine drunk--and tonight she is. 

               it’s   actually   pretty   rare   to   find   anyone   with   the   same   interests,   especially   in   tv   shows.   sophie   may   not   look   like   it,   but   she   does   watch   a   lot   of   television   in   her   spare   time.   reruns   of   her   favorite   ones   were   basically   her   saving   grace   in   med   school.   she   turns   to   dean,   smile   widening   as   she   hands   him   a   soda   bottle.   ❛   this   is   my   favorite   episode,   ❜   she   gushes.   ❛   by   the   way,   did   you   get   the   video   i   sent   you   ?   ❜

“  You  really  didn’t  have  to  ,  “  She  insists  with  wide  eyes  and  lips  curled  down  into  that oh-so  familiar  frown  of  disapproval.  The  grimace  that  melts  from  pity  to  anxiety  as  she  chews  on  the  corner  of  her  lip  ,  desperate  for  that  approval  that  maybe  it  wasn’t  as  bad  as  she  thought  it  was.  Maybe  her  family  was  just  a  little  rough  around  the  edges.  Running  palms  down  the  front  of  white  linen  ,  she  straightens  herself  up  ,  listening  to  the  commotion  outside  of  the  yurt.  “  I  know ,  it’s  a  lot  and  I’m  so  happy  you  could  come -- you don’t even understand  , really.  With  the  girls  on  vacation  outside  of  the  country  and  Gabe  sick,  I  don’t  know  if  I’d  survive  with  my  parents.  Fed  to  the  wolves  , “  

sometimes, especially after the great war, ember found herself on auto-pilot. the traumatic experience of having to save the country from the fire and flood that was astroth and rin’s reign had left her a shell of the woman she was. she would get in her car and drive. she’d hop on i-95 and just go. it was nearly three hours of listening to shitty podcasts on spotify before her stomach began to grumble. she kept peering at the signs, hoping to the gods that they’d advertise something. anything.
