Currently tired but here's my thoughts in no order about him:

-We don't get to see any of his past (eueueue noo), but the fact he shows clear disdain for his mom while loving his dad to pieces is interesting to me.

-He's more proud of his dwarf side than he is of the godly one to the point I keep forgetting that he's is a demigod. Which is probably what he wants if u think about it.

-If he did inherit any other of Freya's ablities he doesn't ever use them. (Which is hmmmm 🤔🤔)Every other demigod chooses to embrace their abilities if only for the sake of survival and he doesn't. His strengths come from his craftsmanship and also the fact that he's not human.

-the fact he starts swinging when shit goes down is so sweet and hilarious. He doesn't care who or what you can do or if he's going to lose, you mess with him or his friends, he's going to call you ugly and throw the nearest thing at you. And it's either gonna be a stick or his bare hands.

-He can punch through rock! Now imagine what he could do to someone's skull! *checks notes* oh wait nevermind he already did that. Heck yeah go my short king!!🎉

-Hes also stabbed someone through with a harpoon once :D!! Yippee!!

He was so proud of his people's worm origin story 😊 (oh sorry I meant maggot)(insert*would you still love me if I was a worm *)

-The fact everyone in folkvanger knew blitzen to the point of knowing his name and saying "welcome home" leads me to believe he must've either visited a lot or stayed there for some period of time.

I like to hc Freya after the 1st interaction started to commission his dad for jewelry, and Bili and blitz would drop in to deliver them or sumn idk. It would make the bitterness he has towards her cut more deep, cuz Freya, instead of expressing sorrow even for a bit just moved on from Bili's death and started sending her son on shopping trips instead.

[I'd imagine blitzen only agreed to do it bcuz 1) she's a literal goddess who can harm him if she doesn't get her way 2) he needed to get away from all that dwarf drama surrounding him and 3)his living conditions must've plummeted after his Dad's death. If you do the math he was only a kid when he lost Bili, and it's mentioned that before that they had started to lose business so... :(( ]
