New titles in the scrolling beat'em up / brawler genre aren't that common these days. Fight'N Rage arrived on PC back in 2017 and has been steadily ported to all the current consoles. It's clearly a loving homage to all the classic 90's scrolling beat'em ups, including a few well placed nods fans will no doubt spot to titles like Konami's TNMT arcade.
Well paced stages packed full of enemies, faultless collision, mixed in with an excellent combo system make this a hugely enjoyable title. Fight'N Rage includes some great pixel art, that reminds us a lot of the 32 bit era art seen on Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation and the music has a great rock and roll soundtrack to go with it.
Supporting up to three players on one system, this is a great title for when you have friends round. Its only real flaw really is a lack of a online mode, other than that this is a must buy for anyone who enjoys the genre. One thing we do recommend is turning off the default retro style graphic filters.
Disclosure PS4 key for this title was provided by the publisher Blitworks. Randomised Gaming has full control of all the content included in the video. However, this can fall under endorsement rules for the FTC and ASA as the Steam Key was provided to us for free.
