People put too much purity on love as an emotion itself to realize that like people, it's complex - it twists and turns and not always in healthy or positive ways. We know how it should be, ideally, but it's seldom the case when between two people.

He loved her, she loved him. It looks simple on paper, but it's not.

He had expectations, she - as any human would - failed to meet the pedestal he wanted her on. He grew impatient, she wouldn't turn a blind eye to his dalliances.

And that is what opened the door to people who opposed the Boleyn's to lay the seeds that eventually lead to her downfall. I believe he truly did believe that she cheated on him - maybe not with EVERYONE the investigation claimed but I think he believed the accusations enough for it hurt him.

You can love someone to the point of toxicity. You can love someone to the point where the thought of them with someone else turns and shifts into obsession fueled by pain and anger.

That's why he loved her *too much*.

Teri and Dean will always have a place in my heart as Clois but as far as modern Clois? These two have blown all others out of the water. Their Clois is SPOT ON.

He's going to get one, love. Just not until they checkmate Thanos.
