#blind skiing

Today I was talking with my friends who sat at the back of the bus for the ski trip (I was at the front because then I don’t have to wait forever to get off and it’s quieter) and apparently I was the only one who got off the ski lift without falling on the first try and I got off the bunny hill the fastest (out of those who that was their first time skiing). Most of them spent the whole first day on the bunny hill and I only did it a couple times with an EA and then once with my instructor. When I told my gym teacher (he had to leave an hour early bc I guess one of his kids had a hockey game) that I got airtime on my last few runs he did a little squeak, idk if it was out of shock or excitement

Never thought I’d be able to go down a black diamond, especially on the second day I’ve ever been skiing. I ran out of time to actually go down one, but the instructor I was with said he thinks I would be able to.
