Thus, Millie Monka and Louis (pronounced Louie? That's what everyone calls him. Maybe it's french. I can't decide. I really need to figure out how I want it spelled) were born. Louis was her singular employee for quite some time. Partially because she's too broke to hire anyone else, partially because she just can't stand most people.

Louis does everything physical and mechanical. Maintenance, candy mixing, security, juicing, emergency shutdowns. All the scary stuff. He's great at it.

Millie does all of the corporate and creative stuff. Thinking of new candies, designing rooms, spending money, trying to "accidentally" trap guests into essentially becoming her property through various transformations* or expansions in order to make the previously mentioned candies. They both have their roles.

They also have sex sometimes. Louis likes being useful and Millie likes using people. It's like team building

In the bottom left corner you can see how Millie met Blake. It was the beginning of a beautiful friendship partnership mutual exchange? Blake pays for new experimental candy to give to his girlfriends and Millie gets money. It's a win win! Sometimes the candy even tastes good! Eventually she got enough money to get back on her feet and restart her business.

I think they fit very nicely in my main character color wheel. Despite the amount of purple in her design, she is actually an Orange/Brown character. This will be apparent in my later sketches.

She's an early 40s Indian British woman. So read everything she says in a British accent. Like slightly posh but the longer she lives in America the more mixed her accent becomes. Louie's like mid 30's but short and picks up on Millie's accent through constant exposure so he's like American english accent with a bit of posh. Everyone else on the wheel is like mid 20s.

One of my first real sequences with them involved a mishap in the chocolate storage room. Those pipes are notoriously easy to get stuck in, and Louis is just clumsy enough to get stuck in one backwards. He's a great swimmer though and can hold his breath for a long time. He can guzzle down gallons of chocolate for even longer! What a good employee.

Of course with them being the only two in the factory most of the time, things get quite frisky. A good employee knows when to let his boss take control of a situation.

Here I had the idea of putting the Blimp Trio on a personal tour of Millie's new factory. They helped her get her business back up and running after all! I'm sure nothing will go wrong!

Anyways, everything kinda went wrong.

This was a bad joke I came up with. I miss when Wonka IRL was like an actual candy brand. Like Nerds, Sweetarts, Laffy Taffy, etc, are all actually really good candies! I have quite a fondness for them so I like to incorporate them into my work.

I wanted to give her her own chocolate bar design. I'm in love with Wonka bars and candy and graphic design, and while I'm no expert at the latter, I still think this looks pretty good!

Here's me using this design in a sketch. I wanted to redo their tour but including all of my characters, like Scott, Camilla, and Martha. That way I can have more bad things happen to people.

This one also doubled as a joke about the "Sometimes only half of the pieces find their way through" thing in the Television Room that was never really elaborated on in the originals.

Then I thought it would be fun to make the Trio intern for Millie. They get something to put on their resumes and she (mostly Louis I guess) gets a little more help around the factory. But honestly they're more trouble than their worth. I think Millie just keeps them around because she feels like she owes them. Despite their constant horny screw ups, she has a soft spot for them too. She would never admit that though.

Sometimes they slack on the job, but is it really slacking if they don't get paid? "It's more like corporate mutual aid" is Millie how describes an unpaid internship.

Rose is very prone to getting piped (ha!) but sometimes it isn't even her fault! Monka keeps putting her on river duty. It's almost like she wants bad things to happen to people in her factory.

The problem with chocolate factories is that the big chocolate pipes actually feed from the bottom, they don't suck from the top. And with that much pressure churning under something's (or someone's) bottom, the liquid chocolate will try to find it's way up something. Or someone. And then that someone gets full. And fuller. And then even more stuck. Until eventually the pressure gets so strong and the blockage gets lubricated enough from the chocolate that everything shoots up the pipe to it's destination. It's very fun to watch.

But it's cheaper to plug the person than to let the pipes keep getting plugged. Millie is a businesswoman after all.

I love inserting minor political messaging into my fetish art. I also love forgetting that I've already designed something and redoing it accidentally.
