Augmented Reality (AR) in schools bring to life those still and flat 2D images. The ability to layer informational video and 3D effects to explain a flat concepts is amazing. As we see Google Glass and other AR tools taking root, the future of learning is changing. Surprisingly, the learning does not occur from merely scanning items. The true learning is represented in the AR overlays that the learner creates, in order to demonstrate his/her knowledge of the content. Our Digital Professional Learning Network (#DPLN) provides teachers with interactive training and application of AR tools with their learning teams. Most importantly, teachers are able to transfer their training to student learning tasks.
