i have an nd character (probably heavily??? autistic coded??) who comes from a slav family where there has been chaotic exposure to russian and moldovan and english and everything and who’s not like super good ? at language in general, much less language-s and who stressed over every word that had to come out of his mouth for a very long time despite having like. great thoughts sometimes and a unique perspective yknow ! and . and i just realized the Joy and the F u n of being able to write dialogue for characters like this and not have it be a fuckin caricature!! i am *authentically* using elements of russian and romanian sentence structure to add to his character in a very meaningful, endearing and perpetual way bc he is the perspective of my generation of slav nerds! hes a vessel for a demographic i so desperately want to hit with my comic!!!! and people will get a constant reminder of that no matter which of the two original languages (eng and rus) they will read my work in!! and its so important to the whole message!!!!!!!!!! that i will not disclose!!!! but anyway this whole thing started bc of the way i phrased ‘ [’there is shit set upon you’] that makes the buttholes clench, of every single fucking cell in your body, the buttholes, they’re all clenching ‘
