honestly i'd rather make a mediocre cosplay of a unknown character than a good cosplay of a super popular one tbh
i mean if u cosplay ppl like kirito or asuna people are inevitably going to compare you to other, better cosplays???? people cosplay to have fun and when someone’s like “that kirito a while ago was better”... :|
and even kirito or asuna fans can’t spend the whole day stopping and taking photos of kiritos and asunas??? 20 different kiritos??????
MEANWHILE IF YOU COSPLAY AN UNKNOWN CHARACTER, chances are you will find that One Nerd (hint: me) who’ll just be all over you regardless of the quality of your cosplay because!!!!! you’re cosplaying my character!!!!! my fave!!!!! my child!!!!!!!!!! bless thy soul!!!!!!!!!!!!
