Surprise ( Shock ) at seeing the man after so many years and anger ( Rage ) for how Akiro dared to deceive the whole world—But perhaps that was for the better.
His lip twitched and raised, hostility upon his tongue while his mind still came to understand that his father was alive, but not only alive—Alive and well.

🐉 Genji knew who he was the choices he freely made, but that wasn’t what he meant. Shifting his gaze to the floor before meeting eyes with his father. A silent melancholy as he searched for what to say. Well, how to say it.
“I made those choices. But I only could because you have given me the freedom to. But I, just like Hanzo was born into this family. I was born into a family of crime. And my name is forced to carry that. But what of Hanzo? No one gave him a choice from the start. He was groomed for this, and now he blindly follows. His hands are red.
Red with blood.
Not his blood. His hands shake and Hanzo forces himself to clench them into tight fists as he stares at the body in front of him. He’s lucky enough one of the guards had managed to hear the commotion and got there before it was too late, though not before he had managed to get himself a nasty couple of cuts across his cheeks. A tad longer and it wouldn’t have been only those. Hell, Hanzo is unsure if he would be standing where he is, had the guards taken any longer than they did.
He doesn’t even hear his father enter, eyes fixated on the assassin’s body as he tries to keep himself in check, though failing miserably. He hadn’t anticipated it. They had told him of the possibility, yet this has been ... something of an experience. A near brush with death, how is... one supposed to ... cope after that? By all means, for what they are preparing him for this should have been nothing and yet Hanzo is finding it difficult to breathe, let alone do much else.
