C: Comfort1. how do they sit in a chair?

she usually always sits on one leg at least, in her sitting positions she’s always able to instantly stand up and do something else tbh

her ideal comfort day would simply be her hanging out with her best friends!! it would probably start with waking up eating breakfast with her family and then her friends would come and they do whatever her friends want to do tbh. she just wants to be with her friends!!!!!!!!

4. what is their major comfort food? why?

it used to be strawberries dipped in honey, now it’s frilly cakes with strawberries dipped in honey, because it reminds her of solas & she lovs him a lot :’/

5. who is the best at comforting them when down?

her dad always knows what to say or to do make her feel better, he’s really the best at it. her brother (falon) isn’t bad either because he’s a good listener. also ori & solas :^)

hmm, hot. she wears no shoes and she likes to open all the windows and listen to the birds and all that!

2. do they prefer summer or winter?

she’s a summer person! winter is fine because there are some fun things you can do in winter like snow ball fights, but she prefers summer

SNOW BALL FIGHTS!!!! SOLAS’ NOSE GETTING PINK BECAUSE IT’S COLD

cannonballing into a lake, catching fireflies at night, roasting food at a campfire while telling stories

SNOW  bALL FIGHTS!!!! she also likes ice-skating with her friends and she does enjoy a good book

she likes every fruit she has ever tried, but if she would need to pick one she would probably say that pears are a bit boring

not really, but she did rarely finish any of orlais’ weird concoctions she had to eat tbh

nope! alvar can eat anything

10. Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such?

in my non-psychologist opinion, i wouldn’t diagnose her with any mental illness but one thing of note is that she’s really flighty. physically, verbally, and mentally. she can’t stay on one topic at all, sometimes intentionally, sometimes not.

11. Intellectual pursuits?

she loves logic puzzles like these:

she’s gotten a great deal of them commissioned for herself. it’s both an intellectual pursuit and a guilty pleasure.

dramas and romances! 

13. Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general?

she’s straight/likes men/whatever. however there are a lot of people she wouldn’t enter a relationship with well before she’d date a woman. for example, she wouldn’t consider a relationship with someone outside the thalmor, because then she’d feel weird about talking to them about anything more than small talk. 

14. Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.)

she has serious vertigo from when she fell into a trap during (what would be) her last contract with the kestrels, hurting her right shoulder and ear. she also loses a good portion of her hearing in her right ear during the accident. 

15. Biggest and smallest short term goal?

honestly neatness was a goal of hers for a while. when she was younger she’d just throw her shit around, so i guess this goal worked.

her smallest short-term goal was finishing a report this morning and that failed.

her preferred mode of dress is long flowy dresses in light colors. she’s relatively casual when wearing her street clothes and doesn’t particularly like dressing formally. as for rituals, she puts her shoes on before her dress like the weirdo she is.

her favorite alcoholic beverage is fantasy irish coffee fghjhg. her favorite non-alcoholic beverage is apple juice pre-pact of course

19. What do they think about before falling asleep at night?

she usually tells herself a story. something peaceful and comforting. maybe she’s sitting on a warm beach and watching the waves.

20. Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them?

ggg all the hearthfire houses have a special place in my heart. lakeview manor feels the most Coze to me, but i love the deer around heljarchen and the distant view of whiterun – it feels very nord-y to me

🖊 alva is a big storyteller, back then in her clan she loved to rally everyone around the campfire for a little storytime. usually dalish tales, or sometimes made up ones. she always uses big gestures, flowerly language, dramatic pauses, all that stuff :D it gave her joy, and after a while of getting used to her new comrades she did it for her inquisiton squad too! i think this helped her a lot as an inquisitor, at least the aspect of having the attention of a lot of people and having to talk to them. its something not tooo unfamiliar & something she actually enjoys!at the same time, its also a reason why she is a rather skillful liar… and also why she got along with varric right on the spot! :^)

🖊alva got the ghilan'nainvallaslin because she likes(liked) her & and her stories ofc, but also because her dad had the same vallaslin and she was very close to him

🖊alva owns a lute (she got it from her dad, who was the clans tradesman and frequently traded with humans) and she likes to let everyone she knows to leave something on it, like a scribble, a sentence, or even a little drawing, it doesnt matter, as long as she got something to remember them by! u can imagine it looks quite chaotic and colourful by now
