回 ░ : The aura had hit her the moment she saw him, the much too familiar feeling of something distinctly not human polluting the air around her. In a different world, she likely would have exterminated him on sight. But in this one, given the current circumstances, that likely wouldn't end well for the rest of them would it? 

Honestly, what a nasty stroke of luck. To think getting roped up into this experiment would cause her to come face to face with the one thing she had always preferred stayed hidden away in the shadows. 

❝ Hey, you. Can you come here for a second? ❞ Her tone is cold, serious, and while not overly harsh it was clear the girl had no intention of letting the other walk away from the conversation she was initiating. 

No, no, she couldn’t let him simply walk away, if extermination wasn’t an option then confrontation it was. 

❝ I have something I need to talk to you about. ❞

         “Aww come on now, messin’ with ya ain’t any fun if ya look like yer about ta start cryin’ from it.”

“Sir--!! S-Sir!”

He’d stumbled to a halt behind the other, panting slightly as he doubled over to catch his breath, holding out a wallet to the stranger. Finally managing to collect himself and look up to properly address the other, sentences choppy from his uneven breathing.

❞ here you go. ❞ placing a cup of piping hot coffee in front of him, colors of white swirled in the caffeinated beverage, addition of cream and sugar added to fight the bitterness of a hot cup of coffee. accompanied with a pastry, not big on sugar or frosting, complimenting the drink as well, though the other’s reaction of surprise && shock, was a tad offputting and concerning. ❞ .... is there something wrong? ❞
