(Octavia meets Ella.)

When she regained consciousness the first thing to hit was the pain. Starting in her head working it’s way through her ribs to her leg. Her vison was the next thing to come back, blinking to clear away the fog that clouded her slight. Upon clearing the fog, she was greeted with her gun pointed at her and the blurry silhouette of a small figure.

“Well this is an unexpected turn of events” Octavia said, her voice disoriented from a mix of things, pain being the most part of it.

Octavia attempted to sit up but the figure shoved the gun closer to her face “D-Don’t move” the voice was soft and shaky. “I’ll shoot, if-if you move again”

Octavia stilled her body, her eyes focusing on the face behind the gun. It was just a kid. “Look kid, clearly I’m not one of those things. You can put the gun down.”

The kid readjusted her grip on the handle but kept the gun raised “How do I know you won't hurt me?”

“You saved my ass back there. I have no reason to hurt you”

The kid took a moment to think about what she had said. Locking eyes with the stranger on the floor, the kid believed her. With shaking hands, she holds it out for the stranger to take. With caution Octavia sat up, gently taking the gun from the girl. “Next time you hold a gun to someone's head you might want to make sure the safety is off”
