unpopular opinion but, blake and cal could have worked if his redemption hadnt been as rushed as it is and he had felt some consequences for his actions. they feel better as just friends though! their dynamic could have been a fun rivalry that formed into something more over time. but they werent given that time and everything was crammed into the span of a few episodes tldr: if they had handled blakes character better, cal and blake would have ended up at most, comfortably, very good friends
