Soulmate AU? Really? Oh boy. What's it about?
Hahahahaa... I know right? I mean, I’m not your typical candidate to write a soulmate AU, but this has been in my WIP folder for at least a year and a half... or maybe two. This was requested by someone when I had my requests open as a newbie. I never got to it, but the idea still intrigues me.
So, it is based on the soulmate!AU trope- “When you get an injury/scar your soulmate gets it, too.”
I will hopefully have it ready to post by next week :)

Ohhhhh good one. #7 - early influences on your writing
I’m assuming this applies specifically to fanfic writing. I started in another fandom and had a wonderful little group over there of very open-minded, foul-mouthed, supportive fangirls. I had an idea and they pushed me. Then, sadly, I started to lose my love for that show and stumbled into the SPN fandom. I lingered in the shadows for a few months, and waited even longer to attempt to write something for this fandom because it’s so large and can be kind of intimidating. Anyway, I am rambling.
The first SPN blog I officially followed was @littlegreenplasticsoldier and I can say that Ali absolutely influenced me. I was just in awe of her ability to really weave a tale, and to include all the not-so-pretty parts that often get glossed over while still maintaining the magic. It was just such a “wow, this fanfic stuff can really be legit” and I started to think of stories that I wanted to tell. When it came down to it, she ended up encouraging me and getting me on board with her Choose Your Own SPN Adventure challenge. I signed up for it before even writing anything and she helped me to jump right in.
My next big influence is another person who has become a dear friend, the wonderful @kayteonline. We met because of the CYOSA and I shyly asked her to beta something for me. She did, and then we got to talking, and sharing ideas, and fangirling together and I don’t know where so many of my ideas and writing would be without her. Seriously, she is amazing at brainstorming with me and pushing me and I love her for it.
If we’re talking non-fanfic writing influence, that might have to be another ask because I might end up going on for far too long.
I totally agree. Everything is her fault. She started it all. I hope Jaime can see that and make the right choice. Great story.

I find it hard to believe that "Hands Off" is your first fic. It is so well done. My heart hurts for them all, and I'm dying to see what happens next. It is so good. You should be very proud of yourself.
Wow, thank you so much, it’s not really the first thing I’ve written, I used to fill notebooks in middle school with stories I never finished and I have a doc full with poems and short stuff I’ll probably never publish. I was pretty nervous about Hands Off because it was my first time posting a fic (a three parter bc I’m a dumbass and an overachiever) and actually wanted a response. But I’ve been showered with love and I honestly could not be happier. Thank you for your nice comment, and you won’t have to wait any longer ;)
