Just forged this blacksmith scrapper from 1095. It was forged from a 4"X1"X3/16 off cut. It's overall length is 6.5"X.5" at the blade. I did add some of my own twist to the knife, by adding in a twist in the handle. I find having these swirling sections on the back of the blade helps to act as a bit of palm swell to better fill up your hand. The edges were all chamfered to allow it to still be comfortable. This knife was forged with an 80CRV2 core, a 15N20 wrap and then a wrought iron jacket and has a blued steel finish. It's got a sharp 9" cutting edge and a 5" handle. Its overall length is 14" and it weighs in at 8.4 oz. This unique chef's knife comes in a custom walnut case with pin lock and a zipper pouch.
