Art in the Everyday.  This is a great example of all sorts of master tradesman coming together to create something that inspires awe.

The forged iron perimeter on the door is a really nice touch that you don’t see very often.  It undoubtedly added many hours of work to the process, but it was worth it in the end.

Hard day in the workshop today but there was time for a walk up the river...

Here is the first of this weeks small bangles, only 46mm by 30mm inside. Forged from surgical grade stainless steel and in the shop now.

I was sat having my lunch by the river and was captivated by the way the water flowed around small rocks almost as though the stones were pushing their way up, peeping out from the depths. This was what I ended up making and photographed here on a limestone wall that is now around 1500ft above sea level though the rocks themselves were laid down in some ancient sea millions of years ago.
