I love call of duty games,but even I know that the franchise needs to either take a step back to a modern setting or start a new franchise. One of the main thing that is killing call of duty right now is micro transaction and it’s a RNG system. In the begin the supply drops were going to be purely cosmetic items only,but Activision decided to add weapons to the drops with a very low chance to drop. I wouldn’t have a problem with this if you could buy the guns instead of going against the slot machine or give the weapons for free for season pass owners. This is wrong and Im strongly against micro-RNG, especially on a game that you drop 60$ for.
Micro transactions-in videos games
Micro transactions have been in the gaming industry for a while now. Mainly in F2p (free to play) games. In F2P games you have micro transaction exchanging real money for a in-game currency to buy items and that would take you a while to get. Micro transactions aren’t bad if done right, but games like call of duty and halo 5 were you pay 60$ for game only to see that they have put the worst kind of micro transactions RNG.
