I made this for an arttrade, glad they were happy with the result!
I had a lot fun with this drawing, partially because I did a bit of research for it. This is basically a combination of the search results "african fashion", "that one culture with the rings" and "ndebele". That tounge twister is a population of people in South-Africa that put rings around womens neck and draw those patterns (on her skirt) on their houses. These rings are actually not used to lengthen the neck, a population in asia does that, not this one.

What’s happening today, is indeed a revolution, and every revolution has a soundtrack. In the sixties, the songs revolved around the war in Vietnam, and racial civil unrest. In hindsight, I should have expected this, as there can be no revolution, without Art!
