Suddenly the curtains close, and Walburgas voice stops. Silence rings in Sirius' ears, and it's only when a warm arm pulls him into a hug from behind, that Sirius feels that his face is wet.
Sirius leans back against Kingsley, quietly crying, for what feels like forever. Kingsleys chest moves with his steady breaths, and his hand rubs gentle circles into Sirius' shoulder.
"I was going to look for you at the garage, but I couldn't find you there. And it looks like you haven't been in a while," Kingleys gentle voice vibrates deep into Sirius' own body, his statement ends with a lilt, suggesting a question.
Sirius swallows. "Haven't," his voice cracks, and Sirius feels so very small and pathetic.
"That's alright. Come on. I'll make you a tea."
Kingsley pulls Sirius into the kitchen, never losing touch, and Sirius just wants to melt into him.
