Who loves a silly greyhound smile? Maisie is underway, layering in base colors and starting to build up more detail around her face. This is most certainly the "ugly phase" where everything looks a bit wrong. It will come together in the end!

Look at that halo of light, almost makes her look innocent and sweet! My first pastel background - I made a few hiccups getting it to this stage, but that's the joy of learning new things! It still needs some smoothing out, but it was a really awesome learning experience and rather calming just blending, blending, blending.
