Captains Log 11_ Black Excellence @ Meroe Museum
I started a draft of this post idek where it went lol. End of Feb was dope I finally had a chance to check out the Meroe Museum and loved every moment! That sim is spectacular and built to the nines. I used to envision what a black museum in SL would be like and when I learned we had one I was so excited. I am now joined up with their group and excited to attend events there. Hell, I would love to work there and hold tours because black and African history is one of my forte.
But the way I teach our history is different. We were not brought to the Americas as slaves. We came here before Columbus by way of Mauritania and West Africa. We started the first trade routes out of what is modern day Europe and North Africa. We were the wealthiest in the world brought gold to the Yucatan, we created EL Dorado. Califaland was inhabited by US. We had a black queen here in what is now America... The history we have been taught is apart of an agenda and it is programming. The way our laws and govt is set up has anyone who claims to be black under laws that make you a prisoner of war. Which is why the justice system treats us unfairly. Because most black people have not proclaimed their true nationality as indigenous peoples of this land. We must continue the footsteps of Marcus Garvey the forerunner of our collective liberation. Ase. I’m not saying this because it sounds nice! Asiatics must wake up so we can take up the staff of our sovereignty!
