Honestly im hoping that now mac is out for good the jokes stop? Like its not funny, it just comes across as homophobic and rcg have said before in interviews they wont do a 'joke' if the audience knows its not acceptable (i.e. Not using the word r***rd) but who knows?? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ this whole season just feels off to me maybe its just bc they're experimenting and trying something different & its not meshing with the shows original concept we're used to but idk i just feel v meh about this season

Like if they are prepared to say the n word then maybe they just dont care about that anymore but honestly one of my fave things about sunny was that you could tell the difference between the writers views and the characters views and now its just like they want to go for a more standard sitcom format whilst pretending its still the same sunny as before if you get what im trying to say? It feels a lot more generic and bland than it used to, the characters dont feel as complex as before?

they have used the N word in the first episode, also by charlie, and they’ve done blackface, and used the R word. i believe they only stopped using it because something about FX’s rules changed about whether or not you could use it. i’m pretty certain that’s why “donkey brains” came to b, because they couldn’t use the R word anymore (correct me if i’m wrong though >_>). 

The fact that there are BLACK people coming to her defense is too much for me. I know that not everyone is well versed in racial issues, historical implications, and how stuff like this is harmful to black people now, but damn. It’s so frustrating seeing a white person being able to use features that Black people are constantly criticized for to look trendy and cute. Not only that, but she had thousands of followers on Instagram (something like 25k) for basically being in blackface. She has since deleted her account, which I’m assuming is because of the backlash she’s currently getting. 

This is too all white girls + non-black girls in general, please stop using “Black features” for aesthetics. It’s not cute and it’s annoying. Black women have historically been scrutinized and oppressed for these features you think are now trendy. Also, even though they’re currently trendy, Black women are STILL laughed at for these features, while they are often celebrated when featured on women who are not Black. Stop this nonsense, it’s 2016. This strange phenomenon of others capitalizing and appropriating Blackness needs to stop. As they say, “people love Black culture but not Black people.”
