@codeuntapped by @codeuntapped are devoted to teaching the BAME community to code. We run 1 day hackathons to coach you in all the skills needed to be successfully placed with one of our hiring partners. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to code. We take your skill set into account and build the right team for the job. If you are a project leader, creative or graphic designer we can find a place for you in the group. This week we are looking at 4 key principles in making a good team. Point 2 of 4 is to understand each others strengths; weaknesses and what’s expected from one another. The best teams are able to support each other through thick and thin. We all have different styles of working and different approaches to getting things done, the most important thing is that the goal gets achieved not that people go about things in the same way. Having a good understanding of what you are good at and more importantly what you aren't, and how you complement others in your team is critical to a well functioning unit.#diversityintech photography @plantainchronicles creative direction/styling @serenajarha models @ezechibritton & Jason Halstead Socials by @alfamunk #blackcoders #blackandasian #blackexcellence #entrepreneurlife #BAME #bameintech https://www.instagram.com/p/BtmFRNnFBwd/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1chkf7zanmn24
